Livewellwell Design Weekend
by CUUNION x Plush Consulting
Livewellwell Design Weekend is a playground that weaves together design, life, and culture as its curatorial threads. It connects spaces across Shanghai’s Jing’an District, linking exhibitions, brand showrooms, social events, retail shops, open studio visits, dining experiences, craft workshops, talks and lectures, urban treasure hunts, and live performances into a vibrant and multifaceted celebration.
We aim to spark new vitality in the neighborhood and foster fresh connections and resonance between people through genuine participation and cross-disciplinary dialogue.
Here, life itself becomes a site of creation, and the community is our shared stage.

Livewellwell Design Weekend 2025.06 key visual was created by artist Dr. Paul X.L. FANG and CIRCLE ARTS, incorporating elements from their Migration & Motion series.
The work features flowing line structures at its core, integrating electric wire motifs that symbolize urban transformation — perfectly echoing Livewellwell’s vision of building a “creative lifestyle community network” and expressing a renewed urban vitality.

Dr. Paul X.L. FANG is a Chinese artist and curator whose cross-cultural practice spans the United Kingdom, the United States, and China. He is a member of both the China Artists Association and the Shanghai Artists Association, and has been recognized as a “Pujiang Talent” by the Shanghai Municipal Government. He currently holds a postdoctoral researcher position at the Shanghai Conservatory of Music.
Dr. FANG earned his Professional Doctorate in Fine Arts (D.F.A.) degree from the University of East London in the U.K. and his Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Printmaking from the Kendall College of Art and Design at Ferris State University in the U.S.A.
His artistic practice explores contemporary printmaking, multimedia, sound, installation, and curatorial research. His primary focus lies in integrating printmaking into the broader context of contemporary art and interdisciplinary practice, using it as a medium for dialogue and cross-field collaboration. His work has been widely exhibited and collected by museums and private collectors, and featured in both Chinese and international media.
