Livewellwell Design Weekend 2026

Livewellwell Design Weekend is a playground shaped by Design, Life, and Culture as its curatorial threads. Connecting urban spaces across Shanghai, it brings together exhibitions, brand showrooms, social events, retail spaces, open studio visits, dining experiences, craft workshops, talks and lectures, city walks, and live performances—creating a citywide community initiative where creativity meets everyday life, and where connection and shared experiences can emerge.
With “Between Lives” as the curatorial theme of Design Weekend, the program connects with urban neighborhoods across Shanghai, building on the global design community brought together by the international furniture fairs taking place during the same period. Professional exchange extends beyond the exhibition halls into brand showrooms, studios, and commercial spaces, creating more opportunities for designers, brands, manufacturers, distributors, media, and industry professionals to connect, collaborate, showcase their work, and explore new business opportunities. At the same time, design becomes part of everyday urban life, engaging a broader public through diverse cultural and lifestyle experiences.
We aim to build an open platform that brings together the design industry, urban commerce, cultural creativity, and everyday life, contributing to a more vibrant and internationally connected design culture in Shanghai.
Here, through active participation and cross-disciplinary dialogue, we hope to bring new energy to the city’s neighborhoods and inspire new connections and a shared sense of belonging among people.
